Justice, Profit, and Gender Equality Issues in the Global Coffee Industry

Eileen Schwab from Cincinnati’s Coffee Emporium and Margaret Swallow from the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) will be celebrating International Women’s Day the morning of March 7th at the Centennial Barn in Cincinnati. They will be sharing about the global reaches the coffee industry has and how women across the world can be economically and personally empowered through the process of growing and selling coffee. This free event is open to the public and Swallow encourages everyone who has ever wondered about where their coffee comes from to attend.

“Coffee is one of the few hand-crafted products available to most people.  It’s important to learn more about some of the women whose hands touch the coffee on its journey from the farm to you.” Margaret Swallow
