Voices of Exchange is a brand-new podcast from the Office of Alumni Affairs in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) launching March 31, 2021, featuring voices from the international exchange alumni network of over 1 million alumni.

The first season features the stories of 10 different alumni in total, including an epidemiologist with global health insights, a college student who is an advocate for disability rights and inclusion and a future Marshall Scholar, an award-winning paratriathlete, and an immigrant turned U.S. diplomat.

“Our alumni have incredible stories that we hope will inspire others to build resilience and strive for diversity, equity, and inclusion in their communities.” said Matthew Lussenhop, career diplomat and ECA’s Acting Assistant Secretary. “Voices of Exchange provides a platform for our exchange alumni to share their stories and knowledge with those wanting to make a difference globally.”

If you want stories of growth, unexpected friendship, and career inspiration from all around the world, directly from the voices of international exchange alumni, then Voices of Exchange is the podcast for you.
Voices of Exchange is a follow up podcast to 22.33, a podcast that was also produced by ECA. 22.33 wrapped up in early 2021. New episodes will be released every two weeks on iTunes and wherever else you get your podcasts. You can also listen to Voices of Exchange right here on our website.
