World Affairs Council Awarded National Grant to Host Dinner Diplomacy Events in Greater Cincinnati
We’re thrilled to announce that the World Affairs Council – Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky has been selected as one of the organizations nationwide to receive a Dinner Diplomacy Program grant from Global Ties U.S. This initiative, now in its second year, is designed to foster deeper connections between international exchange participants and the American public through informal community gatherings.
Through this exciting opportunity, our Council will host unique events that spark conversation, build cross-cultural understanding, and empower local residents to be ambassadors for their city.

What is Dinner Diplomacy?

Launched by Global Ties U.S. in 2023, the Dinner Diplomacy program supports locally hosted events across the country where international visitors and American communities can engage in meaningful conversations over a shared meal or gathering. These informal experiences foster understanding, connection, and cooperation—one conversation at a time.
We’re honored to bring this national program to our region and offer opportunities for our community to play a part in global diplomacy.
