Goodbye 2025 TechGirls! Thank you to everyone who made this program so special

These last two days reminded me that strangers are really just friends you have not met.
–Connor Paton, CEO & Co-Founder of Noshable
Yesterday World Affairs Council and our community partners said goodbye to the 2025 TechGirls students. They spent their few days in Cincinnati with local home host volunteers and job shadowing local companies.
Seeing the how fast change can happen in just 5 days is truly astounding. When students first came into Covington on Saturday, they were extremely nervous about meeting their host families. By yesterday morning, everyone was too emotional to say goodbye. It’s experiences such as TechGirls that break down cultural barriers and preconceptions. We cannot WAIT to see how each student grows in their educaiton and career.
A very special thank you to our job shadow sites:
- Atlas Air
- Connico
- Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC)
- Kroger
- Last Mile Food Rescue
