A Memorable Summer Gathering
This July, the World Affairs Council community gathered for a private event that brought together global conversations and gourmet comfort in the most delightful way. Hosted at a beautiful home and garden oasis, Bread, Booze & Butter lived up to its name—and then some.

With freshly baked rustic breads, rich handmade butters and spreads, and a curated selection of wine, cocktails, and local craft beer, guests enjoyed a relaxed yet elegant evening of connection and camaraderie. It was a warm, welcoming space where staff, Board of Directors, Advisory Group members, and Young Professionals came together to celebrate the mission and spirit of global engagement.
It was especially meaningful to meet and connect with many of our new board members, and we’re excited to continue deepening those relationships in the months ahead. Events like these remind us of the power of personal connection in driving lasting impact.
