World Affairs Council Hosted Non-Profit Happy Hour at West Sixth

This past Friday, November 14th, the World Affairs Council gathered with friends, partners and new faces for an evening to remember at West Sixth Covington Haus. As World Affairs Council staff, board members, and young professionals from Clarke Schaefer Hackett came together, ideas were shared and new connections were built. The event cultivated an energy of global curiosity and local community as our long-time supporters shared their perspectives with those curious to learn more about what it means to be a global citizen.
As West Sixth’s non-profit organization of the month, guests had the opportunity to directly support our global education programs simply by enjoying West Sixth’s Pay-it-Forward Cocoa Porter and beer flight. This partnership is a reminder of how small, intentional actions, like ordering a drink, can make a meaningful difference in supporting global learning opportunities for students across Greater Cincinnati.
Our partnership with West Sixth Covington Haus highlights the importance of community; when local businesses, emerging leaders, and civic-minded individuals come together, they strengthen the international awareness and connectedness that is essential to our region. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to conversation and our mission and, especially, to West Sixth for hosting us.
If you didn’t get a chance to join us last Friday, you can still make a difference. For the rest of November, West Sixth will continue to support the World Affairs Council through their Pay-it-Forward Cocoa Porter and beer flight earnings. We encourage you to stop by and enjoy a drink as we work together to make global education more accessible and cultural exchange more impactful.
