Strong Start to Workforce Development and Global Exchange

The year is off to a strong start for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), with several impactful exchanges taking place across the Greater Cincinnati region. We have been fortunate to host multiple groups early in the calendar, creating valuable opportunities for dialogue and collaboration between international visitors and local leaders. We are especially grateful to our community partners whose time and expertise make these exchanges possible.

In December, a delegation exploring U.S. Approaches to Market-Driven Education engaged with Brighton Center, Easterseals Redwood, Ignite Institute, Northern Kentucky University, and Sparkhaus. These conversations highlighted the intersection of education, workforce development, and innovation in our region, and underscored the importance of cross-sector collaboration in preparing future talent.

In February, we welcomed a group focused on Virtual Asset Investigations. We extend our thanks to the Asia American Chamber of Commerce, FBI Cincinnati Field Office, Greater Cincinnati Fusion Center, Heritage Bank, IRS Criminal Division, NKY Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Cincinnati for sharing their expertise. Participants gained valuable insight into how our region approaches financial crime, emerging technologies, and public-private partnerships. Shortly after, we hosted a program on U.S. Health Leadership, with meaningful contributions from the Clermont County Health Department, Procter & Gamble, and the Health Collaborative.

Most recently, we concluded an Edward R. Murrow program on AI and Journalism. We appreciate the engagement of Miami University, The Enquirer, Total Quality Logistics (TQL), the University of Cincinnati, and WCPO in facilitating thoughtful discussions on the evolving role of media and technology. Together, these programs reflect the strength of our regional partnerships and the continued impact of global engagement at the local level.
