A Legacy of Global Impact: Recapping the 2026 One World Gala

The World Affairs Council of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of our annual One World Gala and Global Trivia Competition. We remain inspired by the energy and community spirit displayed by our guests. Because of your generous contributions, the Council continues to reach local students and educators with essential global education programming. These initiatives empower the next generation of leaders through cultural exchange and international awareness.
Recognizing Excellence and Competition
This year’s event featured our signature Global Trivia Competition, a spirited contest that highlights the importance of international knowledge. We are proud to announce that the Holmes High School MCJROTC Cadets claimed the title of Trivia Champions. Their performance was a testament to the bright future of our region’s young leaders.
We invite you to view the professional gallery from the evening to relive these highlights and share the memories with your colleagues and friends.

A Community of Support
The success of the One World Gala is the result of a dedicated community effort. We extend our sincere appreciation to our Gala Chair, Dominique Ellison, whose leadership and vision were instrumental in the execution of this event.
Our deepest gratitude also goes to our Gala Committee, volunteers, and sponsors. We are particularly grateful to the board and advisory members who donated auction items and resources to ensure our fundraising goals were met. These contributions directly support over 9,000 local students by providing access to global opportunities at little to no cost.
