International Friendship Family Program Student Reception

The International Friendship Family Program is designed to pair you with an international student at NKU to brighten their experience. Whether you’re an individual who can be a local friend or a host family who can provide food and shelter, a willingness to learn about another culture and to share yours is all you need.
When international students get here, they often need assistance with crucial tasks such as airport pick-up, opening a PNC bank account, purchasing a cellphone SIM card, electronic adapters, or other household set-up items. You can also spend time with them like having picnics and showing them around town (take them to Newport on the Levee, the Newport Aquarium, or walk around the vibrant district near Hotel Covington). Bring them to local sporting events and visit local attractions. The sky is the limit!
The International Friendship Family Program is hosting a reception on July 28, 2021 from 6:30 to 7:30 at NKU in the Student Union Ballroom for students to talk to locals and for you to learn more about this awesome program. No need to RSVP. Don’t be shy, come on out!
