The Refugee Empowerment Initiative Summit is a training day to promote best practices for welcoming refugees. REI action teams topics are given priority for the training sessions:

· Advocacy 

· Education 

· Employment

· Legal 

· Health 

· Housing 

· Transportation

We invite partners to submit proposals for training the community. Training audiences include the following:

· New Americans (refugee communities) 

· Nonprofits 

· Businesses 

· Community Members (education of general public) 

· Volunteers
