The Fifth Third Bank Diversity Leadership Symposium is the region’s premier business event on inclusion in the workplace. Annually, the symposium draws hundreds of business leaders as we inform, engage and inspire them to make our region “diverse by design and inclusive by intention.” Our dynamic program reinforces the business case for inclusion, showcases best practices, and charts our progress across a range of inclusion goals.

Keynote speaker: Carla Harris, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Morgan Stanley. Carla has appeared on Fortune Magazine’s list of the 50 Most Powerful Black Executives in Corporate America.

Call for proposals: This is your opportunity to showcase your organization as a thought leader in inclusion by submitting a proposal for a focused session at the 2018 symposium. Last year’s sessions covered advancing women in business; navigating tough conversations at work; building best-in-class supplier diversity programs; and integrating highly skilled people with disabilities in the workplace. Special consideration will be given to proposals that demonstrate collaboration across companies. The call for proposals, with all the details, will be sent out in mid-March, but now’s the time to generate ideas for submission.
