Leadership in Law Enforcement IVLP Group

With delegates from Australia, Estonia, Germany, Kenya, Liberia, Malaysia, Philippines, SriLanka, and Suriname.
The Department of State has outlined the following specific objectives for the project:
- Examine the relationships and balance between law enforcement and combating crime;
- Observe policing practices in rural and urban areas; and
- Explore methods for assessing the security needs of a multi-faceted communities through planning, communication, and use of volunteers.
