with delegates from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Malta, Republic of North Macedonia, and Spain.

The Department of State has outlined the following specific objectives for the project:

  • Introduce U.S. programs and trends used to counter terrorism, including those that exemplify the relationship between federal, state, and local entities.
  • Explore the underlying conditions that fuel terrorism, violent acts, and the current and emerging trends being used to prevent and counter them.
  • Discuss how the public and private sectors within the United States, including government and academia, work together to counter terrorism on all levels.

This is a program of the U.S. Department of State, administered by World Affairs Council –Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky.
