Ideally\, the book themes would focus on different aspects of welcoming and belonging (themes of welcoming week) and could be read in multiple languages.

Come celebrate New Americans who contribute to a strong regional economy and a diverse\, vibrant community as we kick off regional celebrations of National Welcoming Week that runs from September 10th-19th. \nThe event will be held September 10th\, 6:00PM – 10:00PM at Waypoint Aviation’s airplane hangar. Local food with international flavor\, drinks\, and entertainment will be provided. \nEnjoy food from local Findlay Kitchen chefs with international flavors: \n\nAfroMeals\nYee Mama\nOlive Tree\nThe Arepa Place\nMashRoots\n\nHear music and watch performances from: \n\nDJ Garley\nIjo Ugo\nSon del Caribe\n\nAbout Cincinnati Compass: \nCincinnati Compass advances economic and cultural inclusion of immigrants and refugees to enhance the overall vibrancy and economic growth of the Cincinnati region. Cincinnati Compass is a collaborative project of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber\, City of Cincinnati\, and more than 65 community partners who believe that immigrants and refugees are key contributors to a strong regional economy and a diverse\, vibrant community. \nAs part of this work\, we advocate for social and economic inclusion; connect individuals and organizations to resources and to each other to build capacities and opportunities; and promote and celebrate the cultural and economic contributions of new Cincinnatians. \n**Please note the event will be open air with the main hangar entry open.
