The United States office of the ILO has been in Washington\, DC since 1920\, and is a specialized agency of the United Nations. Its mission is to promote decent work for all women and men\, by bringing together workers\, employers and governments. The US is the largest development partner of the ILO. The US government works closely with the ILO primarily through the Department of Labor\, the Department of State and the United States Agency for International Development. \nWednesday\, September 28\, 2022 from 5PM-7PM\n\n5PM Cocktail Reception\n6:15PM Speaker and Q&A Portion\n7PM Event Concludes\n\nTickets: \n\nFree for WAC Members\n$20 for Non-Members\n$10 for Students & Professors\n\nThis event is made possible by a generous grant from the World Affairs Councils of America and the International Labour Organization.
