The panelists are Ambassador Earl Anthony Wayne, former Deputy US Ambassador to Afghanistan (2010), and Annie Pforzheimer, former Deputy Chief of Mission, Kabul, Afghanistan (2017-2018) and former acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Afghanistan (2018-2019). Tony Wayne now a Diplomat in Residence at American University. Annie Pforzheimer is a Senior Associate at CSIS.
