SUMMARY:Threading the Oceans with William Bunch
DESCRIPTION:Threading the Oceans with William Bunch\, sponsored by the Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement at NKU\, is presented as part of the Six@Six Series of lectures. \nWilliam Bunch is a senior student in technical theatre and design in the Department of Theatre & Design at NKU. The talk will be held at Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center from 6-7 pm. \nHow much water does it take to make a T-shirt? What percentage of landfills is fabric? What really happens when you wash your clothes. Fashion looks great on the runway and in storefront window displays. Behind the scenes\, the story is different. How can we look good as consumers but reduce the waste of our clothing? \nThe entire series of seven lectures is $30 and individual tickets are $6. Students attend free. Order your tickets at (859) 572-7847; or online at www.sixatsix.nku.edu.
