Notes

We believe that our cooperation will enhance civic, cultural and economic potential for both cities. We, in Cincinnati, hope to share our ideas and experiences in the development of individual liberty, human rights and freedom, democracy, market economy and entrepreneurial skills. Our program is recognized as one of the most successful and active sister city relationships in the U.S.A. and one of the most active of all USA-NIS sister city pairs. The mission of the Cincinnati-Kharkiv Sister City Program is to establish goodwill, understanding and cooperation between the people of Cincinnati and the people of Kharkiv and thereby to develop lasting friendships and increased interchange of ideas, goods and services between our two cities.

The World Affairs Council programs have been a platform for our students to be able to connect what they are learning in school to the world around them. Every event that we attend makes a sincere impact on our students and allows them to view the world in a different lens. Through the WAC programs, such as the Academic World Quest Team and International Summit on Education, our school has continued to challenge the way that our kids learn and how we can connect our content to the world around us.”
