Notes

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Cincinnati provides opportunities for lifetime learning and social interaction to the mature residents of Greater Cincinnati.

Join the more than 1,700 individuals each year who choose from hundreds of courses—from one-and-a-half-hour demonstrations to eight-week seminars—at various locations around town. Offerings range from such traditional college subjects as math, philosophy, creative writing, science, literature, and history to courses on financial planning and healthcare to such eclectic subjects as wine appreciation, opera, computer skills, tai chi, and gardening.

The annual trivia competition is great fun and embraces everyone present in the energy of the room. We all learned a lot, shared many laughs, with moments of triumph as well as defeat. Global education as no longer a curriculum add-on, but rather a necessity for all students, as job markets and economies are increasingly interdependent. We are proudly associated with GCWAC.”
