The mission of the Cincinnati World Cinema is to provide the community with outstanding motion pictures that explore the human condition and celebrate cultural diversity. CWC is committed to the importance of films that inform and educate, as well as entertain. To enhance the educational experience, our film events typically include discussions with local authorities and/or filmmakers. We present films that otherwise might not be seen in this market, with genres including international, documentary, American independent, live-action and animated shorts and locally-produced works. As part of our educational focus, community outreach efforts include programming for community, educational and institutional venues, with film and discussion formats tailored to specific audiences and age groups.Cincinnati World Cinema actively collaborates with arts, cultural and educational organizations locally and throughout the region to curate and co-present individual films, thematic collections or series consistent with the CWC mission.

The Cincy Fringe Festival is a collaborative organization striving to provide opportunities and exposure to artists who are willing to take a risk. Our artists push the boundaries of the “norm” and continually experiment with style and content. During the festival local, regional, national and international artists invade downtown Cincinnati for 12 days of artistic celebration in both traditional and non-traditional spaces. These artists represent a variety of media including theatre, dance, music, poetry, visual art, film and beyond.

The Contemporary Arts Center provides the opportunity for all people to discover the dynamic relationship between art and life by exhibiting, but not collecting, the work of progressive artists. It will continually increase its regional, national and international influence by providing changing visual and interactive experiences that challenge, entertain and educate. The Contemporary Arts Center regularly features modern artists from around the globe.
