The Mission of the European American Chamber of Commerce is to stimulate business and networking relations between Europe and the Cincinnati Tri-State region. Achievement of the mission occurs through education, exchanges, trade missions, increasing awareness, enhancing the Southwestern Ohio/Northern Kentucky/Southeastern Indiana region’s and Europe’s image, providing information and resources, increasing social and personal interaction and improving the European expatriate community’s experience in our region.

The Association began in 1954 and was known as the Evendale Management Association. In 2002, the name was changed to the Evendale Chamber of Commerce.
The purpose of the Chamber is to provide a professional network of community businesses, to enhance the value of having a business in Evendale, to foster communications between the Village and the business community, to promote and serve local needs and to provide the membership with useful services and programs.

The 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month come to the Chamber office to network with other businesses. This is a great opportunity to network with a great many business leaders in one session. Snacks are enjoyed from 11:30 to Noon and the networking session is 12 Noon to 1 p.m. This is a Free session.

The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of Families with Children from China (FCC-GC) is a volunteer organization that serves to provide support, information and cultural opportunities so that our children can appreciate their rich cultural heritage. FCC-GC is a part of Families with Children from China, which is a nondenominational organization of families who have adopted children from China. The purpose of FCC is provide a network of support for families who’ve adopted in China and to provide information to prospective parents.

Biography
The Forest Park Chamber of Commerce is comprised of over 140 member companies. Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Forest Park Senior Center located at 11555 Winton Road in Forest Park. These events provide our members with networking opportunities, complimentary lunch, as well as to learn from our interesting and informative speakers.

The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick a private organization dedicated to the principles of brotherhood, charity and community service. Since the founding of the organization in 1771, the society has maintained a tradition of openness to Irish as well as non-Irish men of goodwill, without regard to ethnic or religious origin. As the society moves into the new millennium our membership continues to grow and our commitment to the founding principles and traditions is strong.

Friendship Force International is a nonprofit international citizens exchange organization with 350 clubs in 58 countries. It is NOT a tourist organization, but provides the opportunity for persons throughout the world, independent of national politics or religious groups, to become ambassadors for their country. Our local club, the Friendship Force of Greater Cincinnati, has active members who live on both sides of the Ohio River, in Ohio and Kentucky. At our monthly meetings we have a potluck dinner and a program to learn more about various cultures around the world.

Since 1895, the German-American Citizens League of Greater Cincinnati (GACL) has served as the central German-American umbrella organization in the area, and continues to actively support and promote the civic, social and cultural interests of the German-American community in the Tri-state region. The League’s membership is comprised of delegates from thirty-two German-American organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area. The general purpose of the League is to coordinate, represent and promote German-American interests and culture, as well as to foster relations between the German-speaking countries and the area. The GACL also maintains the German Heritage Museum, which is established in September, 2000.

The German Genealogy Group is an interest group of the Hamilton County Genealogical Society that often sponsors German genealogical lectures and other programs. Its members have contributed valuable publications, including indexes of German newspaper death & marriage notices and German cemetery tombstone inscriptions. The Family History Center in Norwood, Ohio has developed a sizeable German genealogical microfilm collection of German church and other records from materials that have been filmed by the Mormon Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. This enables researchers to do a good portion of their research on their German family lines right here in Cincinnati.

The German Heritage Museum serves as the focal point in presenting and displaying German-American culture. This museum is the first of its kind in the region, and a testament to the many contributions German immigrants and their descendants have made toward the building of the Ohio Valley and America. The museum focuses especially on representing the long history of German-Americans in the Greater Cincinnati area, which became, and remains one of the major German-American centers in the United States. In addition, displays also showcase the activities of the twenty organizations currently under the umbrella of the German-American Citizens League of Greater Cincinnati, founded in Cincinnati in 1895.

Our society is committed to maintaining German Heritage throughout Greater Cincinnati. We accomplish this through various events throughout the year. Our main events include the Germania Oktoberfest, the Germania Chriskindlmarkt and the Germania Karneval program which sponsors several dances per year. In addition, we hold entertainment events throughout the year; including dances, parties and trips out of town. Germania also sponsors and promotes various culture programs throughout Greater Cincinnati. These include German language programs in our schools, German radio programs and cultural programs held in our Klubhouse.
